Flat Kyle's Memorial Day 2011

Kellen,

Here is Flat Kyle reporting for the first time this summer. I have been extremely busy over the last month traveling across the world and the United States, but I've reached Washington D.C. and am going to be here for the rest of the summer.

Yesterday was Memorial Day, the day that we remember all of our heroes who protect our country by serving in the Military. I visited all of the different memorials yesterday and even got to visit the White House where President Obama lives! It was a really special day and I hope that you enjoy the pictures I have for you!

See! I told you! I got to go to the White House!

Here we are at Arlington National Cemetery. This is where all of the soldiers are buried. It's a really special place, I hope that you'll be able to go there some day.

There are all of the pictures that I was able to get yesterday during Memorial day. It was really hot and I couldn't stand in the sun all day. I'm really lucky that Taylor and Marie carried me around in their bag instead of making me walk alongside them.

Last weekend,  we were able to visit a museum with a lot of really cool animals. I wanted to show you my favorite animal. It's kinda scary though! Look at how big he is!

That's a Mammoth! This animal was the ancestor to what we know today to be the Elephant.

 He's pretty cool huh?

Anyway, we'll see you later! Have a great summer. I know that I will as long as Marie and Taylor do!

California trip part 1

Well I decided to tagalong on Miles' date on Friday night. He took his date to a place called the Provo Beach resort y played a game

called Mini Croquet. They patterned the course like California y I had a lot of fun watching Miles y his date play mini croquet.

Well the night started off with me hiding in the back ground, so that I didn't interrupt the date. I had to be careful, so that I didn't get poked by the cactus.

After they had moved away from the area with the cactus, I was able to scale the mountains of Yosemite, in order to stay out of the way and watch them from above.

After party

One night we had a little party and I was able to help drink a double berry drink. I had a lot of fun. There are more pictures that are going to be posted on here as the summer starts, because that is when the fun starts. Also I shall be attending a few Real Salt Lake games, so you shall see those too.

20's party

I was able to attend a 20's party. There was a live band and a lot of people dressed up and I had a lot of fun watching people enjoying themselves dancing the night away.

Night at the Movies

Well Kellen, tonight I was able to go to the movies. I had a lot of fun eating popcorn and drinking water. We went to see a movie about someone getting sent back in time for 8 min at a time, he always went back to the same 8 min, to try to save many lives.

I tried to make a pizza

Kellen, this night I tried to make a pizza and I did. I almost fell into the dough, but luckily, Miles was able to save me. I am sad to report that the pizza turned out terrible.

The First night in P-town

My first night in P-town, I was taken away to this random story telling party called a Story Slam. A story slam is similar to a poetry slam, but this story slam wasn't that good. The group of people I was with, apologized for taking me to a lame party, but promised to take me to more entertaining places.
